Globalizationstrategy

rich-text

Techcollege has this strategic ambition regarding globalization , which applies to all our departments. The globalization strategy has been prepared by our globalization department in dialogue with the extended management of Techcollege, which has formally adopted the strategy.

The strategy document itself is a description of the overall purpose, the areas of focus and the organization of the work to implement the strategy.

Appendix 1 specifies the concrete, measurable actions to be implemented on the school's EUD side, and Appendix 3 the same for HTX. In addition, Appendix 2 provides a suggestion on how EUX can be given a more international tone, and finally Appendix 4 develops some ideas on how the school can become certified to offer Cambridge English lessons in the future.

More students on paid internships abroad in 2018

With 44 students in paid internships based on employment directly abroad in 2018, an increase is seen for the third year in a row. This is extremely positive, as these are additional internships on top of those that can be obtained in the Danish labor market. When we still do not reach the then strategic plan's goal of 60 PIU agreements in 2018, it is primarily due to a change in the executive order for the animal caretaker education in 2015. This meant that we could no longer carry out the first internship in this education in a regular farm at home or abroad, and thus the number of animal caretaker students on PIU stays fell back in 2015.

If we look at the short-term, unpaid internships, there is a decrease of 36 participating VET students compared to 2017. This is due, among other things, to some initial difficulties in sending larger student groups or entire classes on Erasmus mobility. Already here at the beginning of 2019, things have moved forward more, so there is hope that we will come out of this year with a higher volume on the Erasmus program.

You can see all the figures for the school together in Techcollege's mobility barometer 2018.
