Take a vocational high school diploma
What is EUX?
EUX stands for Vocational High School Leaving Certificate – and that's exactly what you get:
a skilled education based on practice and craftsmanship, combined with a high school diploma that gives you several paths forward.
You become part of an environment where you develop professionally in workshops, laboratories and real-life environments - and at the same time work with subjects at the upper secondary level that give you study skills you can use later in life.
If you come directly from primary school, you will start in one of our EUX subject areas. Here you will be ready to choose exactly the EUX education that is right for you.

As a carpenter, you work on building, assembling and shaping wooden solutions. Everything from roof structures and floors to facades, stairs and smaller building details. You learn to be responsible for both the visible work that characterizes a room and the constructions that other craftsmen build on.
The profession requires precision, understanding of materials and the ability to think in practical solutions that last.
As an electrician, you work with the technical solutions that make everything from homes and offices to machines and larger systems work. You learn to install, connect, program and maintain everything from light and data to surveillance, networks, intelligent building functions and robot-controlled processes.
The subject combines technical understanding, systems thinking and the ability to create solutions that are safe and work in practice.
As a blacksmith, you work with metal, structures and modern production technology. You learn to assemble, shape and process materials — both with hand tools, welding and larger machines. The profession combines precision, planning and practical work, and you become an important part of the production that creates everything from building parts and machine components to equipment for industry and the green transition.
As an industrial technician, you work with advanced machinery, precision tasks and production where quality and accuracy matter a lot. You learn to program and control modern equipment, work with drawings, plan production processes and manufacture parts in materials such as metal and plastic.
The subject combines technique, logic and practical skills, and you become an important part of the work that makes production work from start to finish.
As a passenger car mechanic, you work with both mechanics and modern technology. You learn to troubleshoot, repair and adjust engines, brakes, steering and electrical systems in passenger cars. The work combines practical tasks in the workshop with computer troubleshooting, because today's cars contain advanced systems, sensors and control technology.
The profession requires overview, precision and the desire to work with both technology and people.
As a truck mechanic, you work with large vehicles, advanced technology and systems that must function safely every day. You learn to troubleshoot, repair and adjust engines, brakes, steering and electrical systems on trucks, buses and trailers.
The subject combines mechanics, technology and troubleshooting — and you learn to understand both the physical work in the workshop and the digital systems that control modern vehicles.
EUX majors
This major is a comprehensive course where you are introduced to several different subjects within construction, production and cars. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at metal, mechanics, machines and technical work processes. You will work in different environments and learn the basic methods, so you can feel the differences between the subjects. Once you have tried several majors and got a feel for how the different subjects work, it will be much easier to choose the education that suits your interests and your way of working.
This specialization is a comprehensive course where you are introduced to several different subjects within electricity, construction and energy. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to work both practically and technically and experience how to build, install and maintain everything from structures and installations to energy solutions.
