Film and Media gives you the opportunity to combine your creative interests with technical and visual skills. You work with design processes, visual expression, storytelling and digital media – and learn to translate ideas into something that can be seen, heard and experienced. At the same time, you become part of a creative environment where you can spar, experiment and create with others.
How the teaching takes place
You will meet teachers who incorporate current trends from the media industry into their teaching. The application deadline is March 1st at 12:00. If you apply later, you will have to take an entrance exam, even if you meet all admission requirements. You will receive a response to your application in April.
In 8th grade, you must have an average of 5.0 in your final standing grades to meet the academic requirements to be assessed as educationally ready for upper secondary school. The educational readiness assessment also includes your personal and social qualifications.
In 9th grade, you must have an average of 5.0 in your final standing grades to continue to meet the academic requirements to be assessed as educationally ready for high school.
For the final exam, you must pass and confirm your academic level from the UPV in the statutory exams in order to be able to go directly to high school.
If you are not considered ready for education and have an average of less than 6.0 in the statutory tests from the primary school leaving exam, you have the opportunity to apply for admission via a professional entrance exam and interview.

What is a level-up?
A level increase means that you take one of your subjects at a higher level than what is already in the field of study.
For example, you have Mathematics at B level. If you choose Mathematics A as a remedial course, you will complete the subject at A level instead.
