WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

The main goal of AddSmart is to increase productivity in industrial and manufacturing companies through Industry 4.0 by introducing smart production.

The vision is to create a single entry point with easy access to shared knowledge and resources about developments in digital production technologies at all levels.

WHO IS BEHIND?

In the project, TECHCOLLEGE collaborates with Erhvervshus Nordjylland, the EU Office of Northern Denmark, the University College UCN, DigitalLead, Aalborg University, the MADE Association and FORCE Technology.

WHICH COURSES ARE PARTICIPATING?

We participate in continuing education broadly within Industry 4.0.

THE PROJECT IN NUMBERS

Total project budget: DKK 23,192,350.

TECHCOLLEGE's total budget: DKK 2,307,050.

Project period: 01.10.2022 – 30.09.2025

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?

TECHCOLLEGE contributes specifically to two of the project's work packages:

3: Test before investing

The objectives of this work package are to

provide relevant facilities for manufacturing companies related to testing technologies within I4.0

increase the adoption of digital technologies in manufacturing companies through testing solutions and experiments

increase the ability of SMEs to identify the types of digital technologies that can help support business growth and development

enable small and medium-sized manufacturing companies to find out which digital technologies will make sense for their business in terms of optimizing processes and leveraging digital technologies within I4.0

4: Skills & training

The purpose of this work package is to ensure:

improved skills of AddSmart staff in the technologies of the AddSmart project

improved skills and competencies in manufacturing companies

increase the ability of SMEs to implement Smart Production solutions and I4.0 technology in their processes by having better trained staff

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?

The project's indicators to measure progress will be:

KPI 1: 240 SMEs will make use of 1 or more AddSmart services within the project period

KPI 2: AddSmart's service portfolio expects to trigger additional investments in the order of €36.5 million

KPI 3: AddSmart will collaborate with at least 26 other EDIHs and stakeholders

KPI 4: 122 SMEs will have increased their maturity level

KPI 5: 33 SMEs will have developed new innovations.
