Whistleblower scheme
Techcollege's whistleblower scheme aims to provide all school employees and students (including past, present and future) and partners with an easy and secure way to report problematic behavior at the school. It is up to the individual whether they wish to remain anonymous or not when reporting. The scheme can be used to report, for example, money laundering, financial crime, bribery, environmental pollution, breaches of personal data security, sexual harassment or violence. It should therefore be used in cases where you have knowledge or reasonable suspicion that something is happening that is in violation of Danish law or Techcollege's own rules and regulations.
It is not intended that the scheme should be used to report everyday disagreements, erroneous GDPR security breaches, lack of parking spaces, etc. Such matters should still be reported to, for example, the immediate manager, or the manager/colleague responsible for the area in question.
If you use the scheme anonymously, you will be assigned a randomly generated username and password, and it will be your own responsibility to ensure that you can remember these if you want to be able to follow up on your enquiry. This is a necessity as it is our only way to ensure your anonymity.
When you create your report, you will be able to see the people at Techcollege who have been designated to handle reports, and you will have the option to select individual people. This may be relevant if the report concerns one or more of the listed people.
Your report will be read through by a trusted employee from ITCN's legal department, who will assess the content and distribute it to one of the people at Techcollege who has been designated to handle the report. The further processing will depend on the nature and scope of the report.
If you create a report, you will receive a receipt within 7 days that your report has been read through and forwarded to the correct employee at Techcollege. And within a period of max. 3 months you will receive further feedback on your report.
