Craft Nation - Collaboration on apprenticeships at industrial companies and specialized installation companies

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

In collaboration with the vocational schools in Craft Nation, a model is being developed for professionalizing apprenticeship agreements with industrial companies and more specialized installation companies working in the industry. TECHCOLLEGE will focus on the North Jutland Region. The goal is to enter into more training agreements with industrial companies and specialized installation companies working in the industry.

The model will be continuously developed through an iterative process between company visits, dialogue with the industry and building knowledge among the company consultants in the specialized areas of the industry.

WHO IS BEHIND?

The Professional Committee for Electrician Education and Employers' Education Contributions (AUB) has allocated the funds from the pool for apprenticeship support initiatives (Tripartite funds).

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?

Phase 1: Development of concept including dialogue with industrial companies, specialized installation companies and the professional committee.

Phase 2: Outreach work and agreements on apprenticeships. Company visits for basic course 2 students at industrial companies and specialized installation companies.

Phase 3: Evaluation of the course and adjustment of the concept. The concept is described and disseminated to other vocational schools in collaboration with the professional committee.

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?

The goal is to create networks for the benefit of the industry and future apprentices, and open up new exciting educational opportunities.

Development of a model for training agreements at industrial companies and specialized installation companies in the Craft Nation collaboration.

Company visits with all basic course 2 students at industrial companies and specialized installation companies.

Approval of 10-15 new companies (specialized installation companies / industrial companies) as training sites.

Training agreements with a minimum of 10 new companies (specialized installation companies / industrial companies). A total of 40 in Craft Nation.
