WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

The project addresses the global, national and local challenges within food systems and consumers' attitudes towards food. With GastroLabCollege – Greener Food Craftsmen, we will implement sustainable teaching and workshop formats in the formal education of gastronomy students. Our vision is that the teaching at the involved vocational schools and in the affiliated companies will be based on the latest knowledge and experience about climate-friendly food and teaching methods that motivate students to reflect and act sustainably both in education and profession.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?

Development of workshop-based competence and development courses, development group, Student Ambassador Corps

Conducting workshops and developing teaching courses and materials

Digital dissemination of teaching courses and materials

Organizational and professional anchoring of the network and the Tour de green food artisans

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?

The teaching at the involved vocational schools and in the affiliated companies will be based on the latest knowledge about climate-friendly food, methods, approaches, etc., as well as teaching methods that motivate students to act for sustainability both in education and profession.
