Network for dental assistant students

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

The purpose of "Network for dental assistant students" is to contribute to the well-being of dental assistant students by establishing networks between the students. In addition, the project focuses on promoting good experiences between the students, so that the students experience that they are supported in their well-being at school and at the apprenticeship.

The project is funded by the Service Industries Education Secretariat - SUS

Total project budget: DKK 175,000.

Techcollege's total budget: DKK 175,000. *Of which self-financing: DKK 0.

Project period: 01.09.2023 – 31.12.2024

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?

The following events are planned in the project. All events will conclude with a mini-evaluation among the students regarding their experience of the event, their connection to the education and their social well-being.

Event 1:

Lunch at Bones and bowling

Event 2:

Shared lunch at Azzura and Art by me

Event 3:

Presentation on plastic filling by Tone Laksfoss (Nordenta) and communal dining

Event 4:

The big baking competition and communal dining

Event 5:

Presentation on work culture at the dental clinic by Camilla Duus and shared dining

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?

We expect that the project will contribute positively to the students' well-being in the program. The students themselves have contributed ideas for the content of the events.
