The green transport technology of the future

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

The purpose of the maturation project "The Green Transport Technology of the Future" is for the teachers in the passenger and truck training, together with the students, to examine the passenger and truck industry's latest developments within green transition and sustainability.

We have received the grant from the Villums Foundation's maturation pool.

Total project budget: DKK 300,000.

Techcollege's total budget: DKK 300,000. *Of which self-financing: DKK 0.

Project period: 01.01.2025 – 31.12.2025

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?

4-5 knowledge presentations from the transport industry. About new trends and technologies.

After each presentation, the subject teachers will work in their professional learning community (PLF) on the reflections that the presentation has given rise to in relation to the teaching that the subject teachers are currently teaching.

Furthermore, we will work with the students' reflections on the knowledge persons' presentations, for example in relation to their apprenticeship.

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?

1. The goal of the maturation project is that the teachers in the passenger and truck training program, together with the students, gain knowledge about new trends in green transition and sustainability. The teachers also aim to reflect and analyze where in the current executive order the new knowledge/trends can be placed/developed.
