How to do it
To send a secure email, you must have a secure email solution installed in your email service or have a so-called certificate. See here how to send a secure email.
When you use secure email, the content is encrypted so that no one else can read what you write. This means that even if someone were to intercept the email, they would not be able to decipher the content. This is equivalent to you “locking the email” before you send it, and only the intended recipient has the “key” to unlock it again.
Techcollege uses secure email when we need to send sensitive personal information via email. Sensitive personal information covers everything from CPR numbers and health information to religious beliefs, ethnic origin, sexuality, etc. Information regarding students and prospective students should be sent to eithersikkermail.ua@techcollege.dk or sikkermail.vejleder@techcollege.dk . All personnel-related information and documents regarding employment must be sent tosikkermail.hr@techcollege.dk .
