3D-CAD:Parametric design and configurations - 48202

Contents:

You will learn how to build the parameters that form the basis for a 3D part and assembly configuration, and how the parameters of a design can be controlled and form the basis for building product variations. Furthermore, you will gain an understanding of how the design work is optimized by reusing parametrically controlled variant models.

Target group:

The education is aimed at people who are or are seeking employment as a technical designer, technical assistant or technical draftsman in industry.

Goal:

The participant can use a relevant 3D-Cad program to prepare the setup of parameters that form the basis for building a 3D part and assembly configuration.

The participant understands how the parameters of a design can be controlled and form the basis for building the final product variations in a technical documentation. In addition, the participant can use the design variables that control a 3D part and assembly configuration by mathematically building these in an external spreadsheet for use in calculating the design parameters.

Through practical examples, the participant gains knowledge about the advantages of reusing standard designs through parametrically controlled configurations. Furthermore, the participant gains an understanding of the subsequent optimization of the design work by reusing parametrically controlled variant models.

An AMU certificate is issued.

The CAD courses are held in an open workshop.
Open workshops are flexible AMU courses that are offered to both employees and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that there is the possibility of a flexible start (starting on Mondays). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
