Introduction to TIG, MAG and Arc Welding - 49632

Goal:

The participant is introduced to welding process 111 (arc welding), welding process 135 (MAG, solid wire), welding process 136 (MAG, flux cored wire) and welding process 141 (TIG) and the primary areas of application of the welding processes.

The participant can weld a lap seam (PA), level D within 1 of the following 4 processes:

* welding process 111, arc welding (inside edge seam)

* welding process 135, MAG, solid wire (inner edge seam)

* welding process 136, MAG, flux cored wire (inner edge seam)

* welding process 141, TIG (external edge seam)

Based on instruction and based on the competencies obtained in the §17 course, the participant can perform welding work in accordance with applicable working environment regulations.

Target group:

The course is developed for people who want to get started with Arc, MAG or TIG welding.

According to the Danish Working Environment Authority's executive order on occupational health and safety training, participation in the course requires that participants have a certificate of education from the training course 44530 Occupational health and safety, welding/thermal.

The welding courses are held in an open workshop.

Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that

There is the possibility of a flexible start (any day) . The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the participants are taught individually. The training is completed when the individual participant meets the training goals.
