USME Recert. in butt, socket and electric welding

Recertification of welding passports according to DS 2383 "Certification of plastic welders" and SBC 243 "Special provisions for certification".

The certificate is valid for 2 years for the USME endorsement.

You should register for recertification no later than 3 months before the certificate expires, otherwise it may require full certification as with initial approval.

Course content

In this course you will learn how to perform butt, socket and electrowelding of pipes and piping systems made of plastic materials for the transport and storage of pressureless and environmentally friendly liquids or gases, as well as butt, socket and electrowelded pipe systems for the transport of chemicals, liquids or gases under pressure.

In connection with recertification of a welding passport, you can:

Perform plastic welding using the following methods: Butt, socket and electric welding of pipes and piping systems made of plastic materials for the transport and storage of pressureless and environmentally friendly liquids or gases.

Butt, socket and electrowelded pipe systems for the transport of chemicals, liquids or gases under pressure. Perform a visual assessment of the welds performed, including isolating welds that do not meet the requirements for certified welding.

Welding passport:

A renewed welding passport is issued in accordance with DS 2383 “Certification of plastic welders” and SBC 243 “Special provisions for certification”.
