Welding passport and certification

Techcollege runs welding courses in Open Workshop with the opportunity to acquire a welding passport/certificate. All welding processes are included at different levels, depending on the individual's personal professional experience and qualifications. Before the course starts, an individual visitation/assessment and possibly a practical test will be carried out, so that the placement in a course is as correct as possible. After completing the course, a personal welding passport/certificate can be acquired with a validity of up to 3 years after the date of issue. Recertification is called for well in advance of the expiration date. To acquire a welding passport/certificate, a relevant vocational education or 12 months of documented relevant practical work is required.

School certification is carried out as theoretical and practical testing according to applicable standards, which ensures that the welder has a high professional quality level.

Certification with 3rd party approval (PED)

The certification can be carried out with 3rd party approval in accordance with the Ministry of Labour's Executive Order No. 190 (Legislation on Pressure Equipment) PED. The approval is carried out by Nordic Welding Control. Workshop certification/procedure testing can, by special agreement with TECHCOLLEGE, be carried out in the workshops at TECHCOLLEGE in collaboration with a 3rd party.

WPS

TECHCOLLEGE, in collaboration with Q-kontrol, offers a number of welding procedure tests according to DS/EN 15612 at an advantageous price.
