Create your own digital universes
Gametech is the field of study for those who want to work with computer games and interactive digital media – both as a creative expression and as a technical craft. Here you combine design, graphics, programming, sound and storytelling, and you learn to develop ideas, shape visual universes and create your own games and digital solutions. You become part of an environment where gaming, creativity and technology meet across disciplines.

Why choose GAMETECH?
Gametech gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in games, media and digital expression – and use your interest actively in teaching. The subjects are linked to everything from game analysis and storytelling to coding, animation and visual communication. The classroom is often a place where students share the same passion for games and digital media, and where there is space to experiment, develop projects and collaborate on ideas across subjects and themes.
How the teaching takes place
In Gametech you work closely with teachers who use both current trends and concrete game experiences in teaching. In Communication/IT you work with graphics, digital design and visual communication. In Programming you learn to code mechanics, logic and interactive functions. And in subjects such as Danish, History of Ideas and Chemistry games and gaming can also be included – for example through analysis, cultural understanding or gamification. You will experience projects where the subjects collaborate, and where ideas are translated into finished games, prototypes and visual stories.
