Green AMU packages
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?
The purpose of the project is to develop AMU packages on climate adaptation and green transition. The AMU packages will give the participants the skills to contribute to the implementation of the green agenda on construction sites and within the supply industry.
WHO IS BEHIND?
Funded by the Ministry of Children and Education, STUK: 'Fund for development and testing of teaching courses in vocational and labor market education within green transition and sustainability'.

WHICH COURSES ARE PARTICIPATING?
The following programs from Techcollege participate:
• Electrician
• Composite
• Plumbing
• Technical Design
• Carpenter
• Bricklayer
THE PROJECT IN NUMBERS
Total project budget: DKK 2,846,896.
Project period: 01.01.2023-31.12.2025
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?
Research: The project will include a market analysis and research into the construction industry to identify and specify skills needs.
Development: Based on the above relevant AMU packages based on the preliminary studies.
Testing: As the packages are developed, there will be at least 1-2 tests and 2 adjustments based on evaluations of the packages.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?
To have prepared green AMU packages that give the students the skills to contribute to the implementation of the green agenda on construction sites.

Supplement to project application: Green AMU packages
The project "Green AMU packages" has been applied for with the aim of developing green AMU packages that provide
students with the skills to contribute to the implementation of the green agenda in construction, industry and
energy and utilities industry. The industries demand qualified labor and with
Based on our dialogue with the industries during the application phase, we noted seven AMU packages,
which we were granted funds to develop. Since then we have conducted a feasibility study in the industries,
which shows, among other things, that:
The construction industry demands knowledge about waste sorting, hazardous substances (asbestos, epoxy, etc.), green mindset and green materials theory, as well as skills to perform LCA calculations.
The industry is in demand for knowledge about green transition and knowledge about automation, digitalization and AI for the purpose of optimizing processes. In addition, there is a general demand for knowledge about green mindset.
The utility industry demands knowledge of legal requirements and building regulations, ESG accounting and knowledge of optimizing processes, consumption and data collection. In addition, a large proportion of the companies visited have a demand for an employee who has broad professional knowledge of all technology in a building; lighting, water, heating, installation, ventilation = building automation technician.
Therefore, based on the preliminary study on a more informed basis and based on
The specific demands in the industries have chosen to change which AMU packages we will develop and offer.
