CAM milling (2D) on CAD files - 47444

Goal:

The participant can import files from a 2D CAD system to the CAM system, perform verification and correct error geometry. Furthermore, the participant can use the CAM system's editing capabilities (e.g. trim, transform, rotate) to prepare the workpiece geometry for machining, including entering correct machining depths (Z-axis). The participant can select correct machining data, simulate tool paths, post-process to a finished CNC program and transfer and test the program on a CNC milling machine. Finally, the participant can identify the minimum radius for machining tools and determine correct machining data for the selected 2D geometry, taking into account the rigidity of the workpiece and machine stability.

Target group:

The AMU course is aimed at non-skilled operators and skilled workers in the metal and mechanical engineering industry who have experience with CAM/CNC milling. It is recommended that participants are familiar with programming and production on CNC milling machines and have experience with understanding drawings, tolerance specifications and control measurements with fixed and adjustable measuring tools prior to the start of the course.

The machine courses are held in the Open Workshop.
Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that
There is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
