CNC turning, programming and setup, 2-sided - 47453

Goal:

The participant can program and manufacture complex workpieces on a 2-axis CNC production lathe, including preparing an optimal sequence of operations (method plan) for 2-sided machining. Furthermore, the participant can change to the correct clamping equipment (jaws, pliers, etc.), bore out soft jaws, measure the workpiece zero point, and prepare, set up and measure tools manually or on a touch-setter or load tool data from a presetting device. The participant can test turning operations by single block operation, run in to production, perform continuous quality control of the machining process, restart a CNC program by block and sequence number, and troubleshoot and optimize prepared CNC programs. Finally, the participant can contribute to the optimization of workpiece production in larger series with knowledge of machining processes, clamping methods and tools.

Target group:

The AMU course is aimed at non-skilled operators and skilled workers in the metal and mechanical engineering industries who have experience with CNC turning. It is recommended that participants have prior experience in ISO, Cycle and Dialogue programming, setup and production on CNC lathes and have experience with GPS, understanding drawings, tolerance specifications and control measurements before the course starts.

The machine courses are held in the Open Workshop.
Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that
There is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
