CAM milling, multi-axis machining - 47447

Goal:

The participant can convert data between different CAM systems, correct errors on given workpiece geometries and select axes for a specified, multi-axis machining task. Furthermore, the participant can, based on a maximum of 5 selected axes, select correct machining patterns (tool paths) and machining data for production on a CNC machine. The participant can program tool-center point (TCP) via CAM and manually program coordinate rotation and zero offset of the 4th and 5th axis in a CNC milling machine. Finally, with knowledge of the special requirements of high-speed machining technology for CNC machines, machining data, cutting tools, CAM systems and materials, the participant can assess options for using strategies for high-speed machining (High Feed, High Speed, Plunge Feed) and produce and test simple 3D volume models on a high-speed CNC machine.

Target group:

The AMU course is aimed at non-skilled operators and skilled workers in the metal and mechanical engineering industry who have experience with CAM programming and CNC milling. It is recommended that participants have extensive experience in CAM programming, setup and production on CNC milling machines and have experience with GPS, drawing comprehension, tolerance specifications and control measurement prior to the start of the course.

The machine courses are held in the Open Workshop.
Open workshops are flexible AMU courses that are offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that
There is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
