CNC turning, preparation and machine operation - 48753

Goal:

After completing the course you can:

· Based on a given CNC operation plan and knowledge of the CNC lathe's control panel and function keys, start up a prepared CNC lathe.

· Safely drive the machine to the reference point, insert and remove workpieces from the machine, move the machine's axes and change to the correct insert cutters.

· Measure tools, adjust offset values to given tolerances and set zero point on workpiece.

· Following given instructions, check the CNC lathe's coolant and lubricant level and quality with a refractometer and other measuring instruments.

· Check and, if necessary, install clamping pressure and lubricate cartridges.

· Carry out spot checks and fill out inspection forms.

· Shut down the machine in a safe manner.

Target group:

The course is designed for non-skilled and skilled operators who operate and monitor 2-axis CNC lathes for the production of large series of parts without daily setup, as well as people seeking employment in the CNC machining metal industry. It is recommended that you have completed basic courses in measurement technology and drawing comprehension or otherwise have acquired equivalent skills prior to the course.

The machine courses are held in the Open Workshop.
Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that
There is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
