CNC turning with C-axis, advanced (2-sided) - 47455

Goal:

With knowledge of chip formation and material properties, the participant can manufacture complex workpieces on a CNC lathe with integrated C-axis. This includes machining axially and radially with rotating tools, setting up and running in programs with contour milling and drilling in the XC and ZC planes, and performing machining tasks using a tailstock support. Furthermore, the participant can analyze cycle times of complex CNC programs, test any changes to the machine, and optimize workpiece production in all series sizes. Finally, the participant can perform maintenance on the machine, including checking side scrapers and air/oil filters, setting up a tailstock dock, and maintaining the centering chuck.

Target group:

The AMU course is aimed at non-skilled operators and skilled workers in the metal and mechanical industries who have experience with CNC turning. It is recommended that participants, prior to the start of the course, can independently plan and carry out a complete production process with programming, setup and production on CNC lathes with 4 axes and who also have experience with GPS, drawing understanding, tolerance specifications and control measurement.

The machine courses are held in an open workshop.

Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that
There is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
