Digital next-generation firewall training in networking and security

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

TECHCOLLEGE, through the purchase of the NGFW technology, can offer education at a high technical level that supports practice-oriented and flexible learning for the individual student through virtualized environments. This at a time when cybersecurity is becoming increasingly crucial in the modern IT landscape. All of this can be offered digitally and enables different forms of education, and should provide students with practical and real-world skills that prepare them for a career in network security based on the integration of Next-generation firewalls.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?

• Identification of equipment and its procurement

• Equipment setup

• Technical training and development of educational content

• Testing for EUD and AMU courses

• Development of guides

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?

Overall, the NGFW setup allows for a very hands-on approach to security education at AMU courses, where students can work with the latest equipment and gain experience with advanced data protection technologies needed in modern IT environments. This will strengthen participants' skills and prepare them to deal with complex threats in their future jobs.
