As long as you do not have an apprenticeship, you can get support for transportation – i.e. support for transport. You can apply for a bus/train pass or mileage allowance. 16-19 year olds and students on SU can get a Youth Card. The price of a Youth Card is higher for apprentices with a training agreement or apprenticeship. In order to apply for a Youth Card, you must have received a notification in your e-box that you have been accepted into the training. At www.ungdomskort.dk you can also apply for mileage allowance.
You can get help with both Youth Cards and mileage allowance at the SU office. Telephone: 7250 5172.
You are expected to bring a PC, as it is a prerequisite for you to do your homework and follow the lessons. Remember to never leave it unattended - it is your own responsibility. If a special computer is required for your education, you will be informed when the education has started. Please note that Techcollege is not part of the Google environment and therefore Chromebooks do not work properly with us. In addition, we have many education programs that use software that a Chromebook cannot run.
Download the app to your smartphone, take a picture and tell us where TECHCOLLEGE needs a helping hand. Search for "DaluxFM HelpDesk" in the App Store (if you have an iPhone) or Google Play (if you have an Android phone) - or scan the QR code below.
NOTE: The first thing the App asks for is “Customer ID”. Here you should write Techcollege.
See here how to easily use the app.

We use e-boks when we invite you to an introductory interview, basic course, school stay, etc.
Techcollege charges a one-time fee of DKK 300 for copies and prints for students in vocational education.
The fee will be a one-off payment and will therefore only be charged when you start your education in the basic course. The student fee also applies to you starting a new apprenticeship. The amount is calculated as an average of the total costs during the education period, and covers both printing, copying and materials provided.
The amount is calculated as an average amount for all students starting the basic course and payment is not refunded upon withdrawal. The amount will be charged separately 2 months after the start of studies and sent as an invoice in your e-box.
Techcollege's student coaches can help if you have problems at home, abuse, or your social life.
The basic course has fixed holidays and days off, and here you can see when the school is closed. Please note that the main course may be placed while the basic course is on holiday.
Exemption from tuition
Time off is granted for major events in the immediate family, funerals and consultations with specialists and dentists, but in all cases it must be approved by your contact teacher. Remember to ask for time off well in advance.

Important information
We would like to point out that all letters to high school students are sent by electronic mail to the students' e-box. Since we do not have your parents' CPR number and therefore cannot send letters to the parents via e-box, we would like to encourage you to ensure that your mail is automatically forwarded to your parents so that they can stay informed about letters sent from the high school - e.g. information about admission, grades, absence letters, parent meetings, etc. Please note that this must be done in your e-box under settings. Your parents can also sign up for our information mail.
HTX charges a one-off fee for necessary teaching materials of DKK 800. The fee covers ongoing costs that have a lasting value for the students. These may include electronic aids, paper and the like for personal use or photocopies. Furthermore, a cost of approx. DKK 100 per student for social events and the like is included.

Youth card (bus card)
A youth card is a personal period card that gives you the right to travel between your school and your place of residence. In addition, you can use public transport throughout your own tariff area – for example, if you live in Aalborg, you can travel freely throughout North Jutland. A youth card also gives you other benefits – read more at www.ungdomskort.dk .
The reading guidance at HTX offers instruction to students who have problems reading quickly and accurately enough or have problems expressing themselves correctly in writing and orally.
Reading guide
The reading guidance at HTX offers instruction to students who have problems reading quickly and accurately enough or have problems expressing themselves correctly in writing and orally.
The problem may be due to dyslexia. At HTX we have extensive experience in teaching dyslexic students, and we emphasize providing quick and qualified support.
Screening
You may already know before you start HTX that you are dyslexic. In that case, it is important that you make this known when you apply for admission.
At the first intro meeting, which is held in April/May, when you have been notified that you have been accepted to HTX, we ask if anyone knows or believes that they are dyslexic. Those who believe or know that they have reading and writing difficulties are offered a conversation with the study counselor with the aim of uncovering the problems and possibly initiating help.
Dyslexia
Dyslexia is characterized by slow and imprecise reading as well as difficulties with spelling and written expression, and the consequence is that it often takes a very long time to read and write correctly. Dyslexia has NOTHING to do with intelligence, and it is therefore important that you get the help you need so that you can solve the tasks you encounter in high school.
We use a test to determine whether dyslexia is present. Through the Danish Agency for Education and Quality, you can get reading/writing support programs to download to your own PC, which can be used for several languages.
The SU-styrelsen also grants hours for instruction in the use of reading/writing support programs. Support is often given for digital books that can be used on the computer, and finally the SU-styrelsen grants support hours, also called SPS hours, so that you can get help with structure for reading and written assignments in your daily life.
The school has a license for a reading/writing support program, so even if you are not dyslexic, you can still get help with spelling and reading on your own computer.
The guide
Based on the test and your needs and wishes, the guidance is organized so that it is precisely tailored to your needs. The guidance takes place individually or in small groups - often with students from the same class. The lessons are usually before or after regular classes.
The guidance will focus on strategies and tools for more effective schooling. Unfortunately, there are no easy solutions to reading/writing difficulties, but concentrated work on one's difficulties will pay off in the form of homework and work on assignments becoming easier, and the benefits of one's efforts will increase.
Extended exam time
If you have reading/writing difficulties, you have the option of getting extended preparation time for the oral exams and longer time for the written exams. Exam assignments are available electronically and you can have them read out to you on the computer. None of this will appear on your diploma.
In total, you must take exams in a minimum of 10 subjects in the HTX program, including tests in written Danish, SOP and Technical subjects.
All exams – oral, written and project exams – count.
Go to your supervisor
You can always contact one of the school's counselors if you have problems, are tired of school, or just want someone to talk to.
