Green transition in subject teacher practice - transportation subjects
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?
The purpose of the project is to upgrade our teachers with the latest knowledge in electrical technology. The upgrade is closely related to the equipment purchases that our project Equipment for future competencies in green transport – establishment of an electrical technology workshop for the mechanic education at TECHCOLLEGE (can we make an active direct link?) will make.
WHO IS BEHIND?

WHICH COURSES ARE PARTICIPATING?
The following programs from TECHCOLLEGE participate:
Passenger car mechanic
Truck mechanic
THE PROJECT IN NUMBERS
Total project budget: DKK 1,537,190.
TECHCOLLEGE's total budget: DKK 1,309,990.
Project period: 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2028
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PART OF THE PROJECT?
The project includes the following activities:
- Company internships for the teachers so that they can get even closer to the everyday life and needs of companies.
- Professional presentations
- Study trips for the teachers to, for example, the climate vocational school at TEC and AAU Energy
- Basic competence development in electrical engineering
- Competence development in electronic simulation panels
- Coverage of other specially adapted courses, e.g. at AAU Energy and others
- DEP module in sustainability
Throughout the project, the subject teachers work on internal knowledge sharing of new competencies – both vocational and pedagogical.
The activities are carried out in close dialogue, cooperation and with the participation of the Knowledge Center for Automation and Technology.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT?
We expect that the project will result in the teachers being updated with the latest vocational knowledge within electrical technology in cars/trucks.
