Gain broad knowledge in robot programming and learn to troubleshoot, diagnose, and program more advanced sensors as well as set up communication between robot and production cell.

9 days of training divided into two periods.

Course content

Module 1, Robotics 1, commissioning

  • Perform minor programming and reprogramming tasks on robots and perform troubleshooting and diagnostics via the Teach Pendant or robot cell programmer.

  • Maintain and conduct a risk assessment on a robot/robot cell.

  • Commission the robot/robot cell and connect peripheral equipment to the robot's I/O modules.

  • Knowledge of the rules for safety on robots and robot cells, including distance from robot to safety fence, reaction time of light grids and the rules for emergency stops.

  • Knowledge of the issues that arise when the robot has to work three-dimensionally, as well as the general operation of robots.

  • Knowledge about the applications of robotics and the possibilities of robotics in the near future.

  • Optimize the robot's movements.

Module 2, Advanced Robotics

  • Apply advanced technological sensors to a robot and program them.

  • Choose and use the best possible (robot) tool for the task and the best possible control method, including vision technology, analog/digital sensors, etc.

  • Use relevant documentation, set up communication between the robot and the production cell/camera and robot, and program the robot and associated equipment.

We use KUKA robots.
