Learn to perform hot roofing work in a fire-technically correct manner. Learn to assess the possible dangers and the safety precautions that must be taken when performing hot work.

Several insurance companies require that tradesmen who work with hot work in connection with roofing tasks have a certificate from the DBI (Danish Fire and Security Technical Institute).

Course content

Assess safety precautions and the possible hazards when performing roofing tasks that emit flames or heat and that could cause a fire in the workplace.

Arrange the workplace to ensure fire safety.

Take the necessary safety precautions before and during the performance of the work.

Carry out the fire safety regulations that apply upon completion of work.

Perform hot roofing work with welding, cutting, soldering, drying, heating and other heat-generating tools, in a fire-technically correct manner.

Perform fire extinguishing during roofing work.

Course certificate

A course certificate giving competence is issued. A certificate number is also issued from DBI (Danish Fire and Security Technical Institute), which covers the entire Nordic region. After the course, the school will order the certificate for you. The DBI certificate costs DKK 125.00 + VAT.
