Basic mechanical drawing - 48927

Goal:

After completing the course you will have knowledge about:

· The meaning of different line types, simple measurements and scale.

· Tolerance specifications.

· The meaning of the main information of part drawings (drawing number, material information, revision numbers, constructor, etc.).

After completing the course you can:

· Read and use simple workpiece/working drawings for workpiece manufacturing.

· Prepare working drawings according to current standards for orthogonal projection either on provided CAD solids or with ordinary drawing tools.

· Read commonly occurring product drawings.

· Dimension sectional images and thread drawings, either on provided CAD solids or with commonly available drawing tools.

· Use part drawings in industrial production, including for traceability of finished products.

Target group:

The AMU course is a basic course in drawing reading and is aimed at unskilled and skilled operators who have or are looking for work in the metal industry. The AMU course can, for example, be used prior to participation in other AMU courses in drawing comprehension, measurement technology, CAD/CAM and/or metal cutting.

The CAD courses are held in an open workshop.

Open workshop are flexible AMU courses that are offered to both employees and unemployed people. Open workshop means that there is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
