MAG welding of edge seams in sheet/plate, process 135 - 40092

This course offers the opportunity to earn a welding certificate !

Goal

You will learn, based on requirements, drawings, welding procedure specifications, and oral instructions, to independently perform MAG welding 135 of edge seams in material group 1.1 + 1.2 + 1.3 + 1.4 according to CR/ISO 15608 in the welding positions:

  • FW-PA plate/plate 2 n-strings

  • FW-PB plate/plate 2-n strings

  • FW-PF plate/plate 2-n strings

  • FW-PB plate/plate 2-n strings

You will also gain theoretical knowledge about conditions that are important for the practical application of arc welding (process 135) of edge seams:

  • Welding methods and equipment

  • Materials science

  • Additives

  • Welding sequence and procedure

  • Welding defects and control methods

  • Joint shapes and formation

  • Environment/work environment and safety

  • Certification of welders

  • Heat treatment

The goal is considered achieved when you can perform the above welds based on theoretical knowledge.

All practice tasks are carried out on the basis of welding procedure specifications prepared according to applicable DS/EN/ISO standards.

The samples must be visually assessed by the welding coordinator/examiner.

The welding courses are held in an open workshop.

Open workshops are flexible AMU courses that are offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that

There is the possibility of a flexible start. The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the participants are taught individually. The training is completed when the individual participant meets the training goals.

An AMU certificate is issued.
