MAG welding thin plate process 135 - 44694

Goal:

Based on requirements, drawings, welding procedure specifications, and oral instructions, you can independently perform MAG welding 135 in plate thicknesses of 1-3 mm of single-strand edge and butt seams in material group 1.1 + 1.2 + 1.4, cf. CR/ISO 15608.

The goal is considered achieved when you can perform the following welds based on theoretical knowledge:

  • FW-P-PG edge seam vertically falling 1 strand

  • FW-P-PB edge seam standing 1 strand

  • BW-P-PA butt seam top down 1 strand

  • BW-P-PC butt seam side in 1 strand

  • BW-P-PG butt seam vertically falling 1 strand

You have knowledge of conditions that are important for the practical application of MAG welding process 135 for welding thin sheet metal in the following areas:

  • Welding methods and equipment

  • Materials science

  • Additives

  • Welding sequence and procedure

  • Welding defects and control methods

  • Environment/work environment and safety

All practice tasks are carried out on the basis of welding procedure specifications prepared according to applicable DS/EN/ISO standards.

The welding courses are held in an open workshop.

Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that

There is the possibility of a flexible start. The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the participants are taught individually. The training is completed when the individual participant meets the training goals.

An AMU certificate is issued.
