TIG-welded butts thin stainless steel pipe all pos - 48882

This course offers the opportunity to earn a welding certificate !

Goal:

The participants can, based on the requirements, drawings, welding procedure specifications, and oral instructions, independently perform TIG welding process 141 of butt seams in thin-walled stainless steel pipes with a wall thickness of less than 3 mm in material group 8.1 + 8.2 + 9.2 + 9.3 + 10.1 + 10.2, cf. DS/CEN ISO/ TR 15608, in the welding positions mentioned below, cf. DS/EN ISO 9606-1 table 9 with both pulsed and constant arc.

Participants also have theoretical knowledge of conditions that are important for the practical application of TIG welding (process 141) of butt seams in thin-walled stainless steel pipes, in the following areas:

• Welding methods and equipment

• Materials science

• Additives

• Welding defects and inspection methods

• Welding sequence and procedure

• Joint shapes and formation

• Environment/work environment and safety

• Certification of welders

The goal is considered achieved when the participants, based on theoretical knowledge, can perform the following welds:

BW-T-PA

BW-T-PC

BW-T-PH

BW-TH-LO45

All welding is carried out on the basis of welding procedure specifications prepared according to applicable DS/EN/ISO standards. Or a written welding manual.

Furthermore, based on theoretical and practical experience, participants can complete the mandatory test described in DS 322, point 4.5, table 4 + 5.

When taking the tests, they must be visually assessed by the welding coordinator/examiner.

Target group:

The labour market training course is designed for unskilled and skilled welders and blacksmiths who want additional skills in process 141 TIG welding of stainless steel. It is recommended that the participant has completed the course 40109, TIG welding of thin stainless steel plate, or has equivalent welding skills, prior to the course.

According to the Danish Working Environment Authority's executive order on occupational health and safety training, participation in the course requires that participants have a certificate of education from the training course 44530, Occupational health and safety, welding/thermal

The welding courses are held in an open workshop.

Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that

There is the possibility of a flexible start ( any day ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the participants are taught individually. The training is completed when the individual participant meets the training goals.
