With bridge building and an introductory course at HTX, you get the opportunity to experience everyday life at our technical high school up close. You meet students and teachers and follow the teaching in a real HTX class.
You see how we work with the subjects. You also get to try it yourself, both in the laboratory and in the workshop. And you get a better sense of what HTX entails.

Introductory course for 8th grade
In 8th grade, it's about opening the door to new opportunities.
You work in groups with the theme My City of Aalborg and use the HTX subjects to solve tasks about the bridge over the Limfjord, the water in the fjord and life in the harbor. The subjects you encounter include technology, design, physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology. You also follow an HTX class for a few hours and experience how the teaching is done.
Maybe you'll discover an interest you didn't know you had. Maybe you'll be confirmed in something you're already considering.
Bridge building for 9th and 10th grade
In 9th and 10th grade, you will be tested to see if your HTX skills are in place when you open our break-out box.
You use the subjects to crack the codes, come to the workshop and make something yourself and get a taste of how we work at HTX. You also meet our students and teachers and follow some lessons in the class you have chosen. If you are in 10th grade, you get an extra day of physical education, biotechnology and technical subjects.
It gives you experience that you can use when deciding what the next step is.

End: approx. 2:00 PM
Meet in the Aulaen at Øster Uttrup Vej 5, 9000 Aalborg. Our teachers will welcome you here.
Take bus 17 or 18, or use Rejseplanen to plan your transportation.
Bring a pencil case, calculator and preferably your PC.
Wear practical clothes, you are going to the workshop.
Bring a packed lunch or buy food in the canteen (we accept payment cards and MobilePay, not cash)
