Economy
The vast majority of courses at Techcollege are AMU courses. AMU is an abbreviation for ArbejdsMarkedsUddannelse and is a competency-based adult education. You can participate in AMU courses under advantageous conditions because the Ministry of Education provides financial support. Read about your options below.
If you are employed or self-employed, and if you have education up to and including skilled level, the following applies:
The course price can be seen under the individual course. You or your employer must pay the low rate. You can obtain VEU compensation (wage loss compensation) of DKK 1,017 per day, equivalent to the full unemployment benefit rate (2026 rate). A maximum of VEU compensation can be obtained for 10 weeks of AMU courses within a 12-month period, and a maximum of VEU compensation can be obtained up to 3 times for the same AMU target within a 12-month period.
