Contents:

The participant can develop and make pies with seasonal fruits and do so in an economical way based on knowledge of the concept of food waste. The participant can make fruit pies with different filling creams and masses for pie bases as well as work with gelling methods, flavors and decoration.

Target group:

The course is aimed at employees who are employed in the baking and pastry industry.

Goal:

The participant can develop and produce pies with seasonal fruits in both fresh and processed form. The participant can, based on knowledge of the concept of food waste, produce fruit pies in an economical way. The participant can produce fruit pies with different filling creams and masses for pie bases and work with gelling methods. The participant can use and combine raw materials so that they create a harmonious expression in terms of taste and appearance. The participant can store fruit pies in accordance with current food legislation.
