CNC milling, preparation and machine operation - 48913

Goal:

After completing the course you will have:

· Knowledge of the construction of CNC machines, axes, tools, etc.

· Knowledge of buttons, function keys, symbols on machine controls.

· Knowledge of applicable safety requirements and work instructions.

After completing the course you can:

· Start up a prepared CNC milling machine and move the axes to the reference point.

· Check the coolant/lubricant with a refractometer in the machine, level and quality, and fill to the correct level.

· Perform preventive service such as cleaning air filters and filling with the correct sidewall and hydraulic oil.

· Initiate prepared production according to instructions and can, after guidance, measure items according to measurement instructions.

· Shut down the CNC machine in a safe and responsible manner, including using the emergency stop.

Target group:

The course is designed for non-skilled and skilled operators who perform 3-axis machining on CNC milling machines for the production of large series of parts without daily setup, as well as people seeking employment in the CNC machining metal industry. The course can be advantageously combined with basic courses in measurement technology and drawing comprehension.

The machine courses are held in the Open Workshop.
Open workshops are flexible AMU courses offered to both employed and unemployed people. Open workshops mean that
There is the possibility of a flexible start ( starting on Mondays ). The courses run simultaneously at different levels, and the students are taught individually.
